Carl Edwin Banks
Carl Edwin Banks, age 19 of Monroe, died on Oct. 20, 2008. He was born in Clarke County, Georgia on July 26, 1989 to Melanie Kae Sessions Banks of Monroe and Johnny Carroll Banks of Alma.
He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, the late Deedee Degraffried.
He was working on his GED, and upon completion he planned to enroll in Athens Tech.
Surviving are: mother: Melanie Kae Sessions Banks of Monroe; grandparents: Carl and Carla Sessions of Monroe; uncle and aunt: Keith and Lisa Sessions of Cincinnati, Ohio; cousin: Alex Sessions of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jessica Hernandez of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Memorial Services were held on Saturday, Oct. 25th at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Margaret Adams officiating.
Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
