Thomas “Tom” Peters

Thomas “Tom” Peters, age 80 of Dacula, formerly of Monroe, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009. Funeral Services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Matthew Mitchell and David Loudner officiating. Burial: Rest Haven Cemetery, Monroe.

A member of Dacula United Methodist Church and retired from Life of Virginia with 25 years of service, Mr. Peters was a member of the Lions Club and was with the National Guard with nine years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hutchings Peters, Dacula; daughters and sons-in-law: Connie and Ronnie Franklin, Lawrenceville; Penny and Mike Paden, Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Tracy Franklin, Kelly and David Loudner, Lori and Bill Fisher, Kara and Mario Gonzalez, Michael Paden, Christin and Eric Apolenis, Abram and Brandy Paden; great grandchildren, Colin Loudner, Jenna Loudner, Bailey Fisher, Ben Fisher, Kamren Paden, Abby Fisher, Preston Paden , Paden Gonzalez, Payton Apolenis, Reagan Gonzalez, James Apolenis; brothers and sisters-in-law: Carlton and Patsy Peters, Porterdale; Edward and Joyce Peters, Monroe; sister, Sara Bramblett, Monroe; brothers-in-law: Harry Stone, Hoyt Youngblood, both of Monroe; beloved nieces and nephews.
