“Monroe” Banks
Eddie “Monroe” Banks, who was born on March 6, 1954 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, passed away at Walton Regional Medical Center on July 20, 2010 at the young age of 56.
Eddie was preceded in life by his father, A.W. Banks of Monroe; and his mother, Barbara Banks also of Monroe.
He leaves behind a brother, Arthur Banks of Sarasota, FL; sister-in-law, Marilyn Banks also of Sarasota, FL; a niece, Melissa Banks of Coral Gables, FL; and his former wife Patsy Banks of Monroe, and step-daughter, Amy..
A graveside service was held in Monroe on July 22 at Hill Haven Cemetery. The family would like to thank all of Eddie’s friends for their love and friendship over the years.
