TO: SCOTT RODGERS JACKSON OF 504 FOREST STREET, MONROE, GEORGIA 30655 AND 2680 IKE STONE ROAD, NW MONROE, GEORGIA 30656 AND ALL OWNERS OR INTEREST HOLDERS OF THE SEIZED PROPERTY.
TAKE NOTICE that on June 28, 2010, Officers of the Monroe Police Department seized seven hundred sixty nine and 00/100 dollars ($769.00) in U.S. currency, one (1) 2006 Toyota Tacoma, VIN 3TMJU62N06M0081, GA TAG GA70BA (hereinafter “the seized property”) and hydrocodone near the intersection of Hammond Drive and Baker Street, Monroe, Walton County, Georgia.
The seized property was directly or indirectly used or intended for use to facilitate violations of O.C.G.A. § 16-13-30 and/or is proceeds derived or realized therefrom and/or was found in close proximity to hydrocodone and/or other property which is subject to forfeiture pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 16-13-49(d).
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the owner or interest holder may file a claim against the seized property within thirty (30) days after the second publication of this Notice in a newspaper of general circulation in Walton County by sending the claim to the seizing law enforcement agency listed below and to the District Attorney for the Alcovy Judicial Circuit, c/o The Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia, Legal Services Division, 104 Marietta Street NW, Suite 400, Atlanta, Georgia 30303-2743 by certified mail or statutory overnight delivery, return receipt requested.

TAKE NOTICE that on June 30, 2010, law enforcement officers of the Walton County Sheriff’s Office seized one (1) fifty (50) inch Plasma television model DP50740, Serial No. B0190651239234 and remote control, one (1) .45 caliber Hi Point Handgun, Model JHP, Serial No. 4123388, one (1) Pelouze digital scale, Model PG2R1-P, Serial No. 1000954, one (1) black digital scale (hereinafter “the seized property) and marijuana at 716 Reese Court, Loganville, Walton County, Georgia.
The seized property was directly or indirectly used or intended for use to facilitate the possession of and/or possession with intent to distribute marijuana in violation of O.C.G.A. § 16-13-30 and/or is proceeds derived or realized therefrom and/or was found in close proximity to marijuana and/or other property which is subject to forfeiture pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 16-13-49(d). Further, the said weapon was possessed and/or used and/or available for use to facilitate a violation of the Controlled Substances Act.
