TAKE NOTICE that on October 6, 2009, Officer Stephen Chandler and other law enforcement Officers of the Monroe Police Department seized six hundred twenty-five and 00/100 dollars ($625.00) in U. S. currency, one (1) digital scale (hereinafter “the seized property”) and cocaine at 129 A Tanglewood Drive, Monroe, Walton County, Georgia.
The seized property was directly or indirectly used or intended for use to facilitate a violation of O.C.G.A. § 16-13-30 and/or is proceeds derived or realized therefrom and/or was found in close proximity to cocaine and/or other property which is subject to forfeiture pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 16-13-49(d).

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the owner or interest holder may file a claim against the seized property within thirty (30) days after the second publication of this Notice in a newspaper of general circulation in Walton County by sending the claim to the seizing law enforcement agency listed below and to the District Attorney for the Alcovy Judicial Circuit, c/o The Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia, Legal Services Division, 104 Marietta Street NW, Suite 400, Atlanta, Georgia 30303-2743 by certified mail or statutory overnight delivery, return receipt requested.

The seized property was directly or indirectly used or intended for use to facilitate a violation of O.C.G.A. § 16-13-30 and/or is proceeds derived or realized therefrom and/or was found in close proximity cocaine and/or other property which is subject to forfeiture pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 16-13-49(d).

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC


YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that on the 24th day of November, 2009, at 9:30 A.M., at the Walton County Courthouse in Monroe, Georgia, the Judge of the Superior Court of Walton County will hear the case of the STATE OF GEORGIA, Plaintiff, v. DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF WALTON COUNTY and GENERAL MILLS OPERATIONS, LLC, Defendants, Civil Action File No. 09-4017-1, in the Superior Court of Walton County, the same being a proceeding to confirm and validate an issue of Development Authority of Walton County Taxable Revenue Bonds (General Mills Operations, LLC Equipment Project), Series 2009 (the “Bonds”), in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $5,000,000. The Bonds are to be issued, in one or more series, by the Development Authority of Walton County (the “Issuer”) for the purpose of financing, in whole or in part, the acquisition and installation of certain machinery, fixtures and equipment at a warehouse and distribution center located at 5239 East Hightower Trail, SE, Social Circle, Walton County, Georgia for General Mills Operations, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (the “Company”) (the “Project”), in order to develop and promote for the public good and general welfare trade, commerce, industry and employment opportunities and to promote the general welfare of the State of Georgia. Said Project will be leased by the Issuer to the Company pursuant to a Lease Agreement, dated as of November 1, 2009. In said proceeding the Court will also pass upon the validity of said Lease Agreement, an Indenture of Trust, a Bond Purchase Agreement and a Guaranty Agreement in connection therewith.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Monroe experienced rainfall on the 11th day of November in excess of 5”. Jacks Creek WWTP was affected by these flows. the plant experienced flows of 9 MGD. the flow for the twenty-four hour period was 6.335 MGD. Although the City’s spill was partially treated, the effluent solids exceeded 50% of the weekly maximum.
Effluent solids for the 11th of November were 77. At not time was there a raw sewage spill.
